Assignment 6 Part 1d

Assignment 6 Part 1d

Hello,

I am a little confused about calculating the average probability in 1d. Let's say n = 100 and m = 25 and 15 out of the 25 times the calculation was repeated for 100 people, there was at least one case of three people sharing a birthday. To calculate average probability, is it simply 15/25 = 0.6? Or am I missing something in calculating the average probability?

I appreciate your help, thank you.

Yes, the probability in that case would be 15/25.

Apologies as I have gotten confused as well. Does calculation in this problem mean 'm samplings of size n' or something different entirely?

Thank you very much.
